5Great Bike
By J. Porter
Bought this bike to start exercising again and get back in shape. Gained alot of weight due to an injury. Needed a bike that was comfortable and could support me. Been riding about 3 miles per day, 4 days per week, for about 6 months now and no problems at all. Bike is very comfortable. When you buy this bike, I had the option of the curved back handle bars or the straight ones. Bought the curved ones thinking they would be more comfortable, but had an awkward angle on my wrists. The straight bars are more comfortable.

3Good Value for the Price
By David Parker
Got this for a good price before Christmas with free shipping. Our 14 year old son is 6'3" and the extra large frame looked perfect. It does fit him very nicely. The ergonomics are perfect and the bike is comfortable and fast.

Assembly is extremely easy. Really just needs the handlebars, front wheel, and brakes attached. Easy to do with simple tools. Anybody with basic knowledge of bikes and tools can do it in little time.

HOWEVER...if you do so, you apparently void the otherwise excellent waranty. After just a couple of months of use, the left crank fell off and the entire crank assemply needed to be replaced. Was defective due to stripped threads. Took it into the Diamondback authorized warranty shop in Fresno (Herb Bauer) and was told that the warranty is no good unless an authorized bike shop assembled the bike after purchase. The crank assembly was pre-assembled out of the box - all I did was spin the pedals on. Ended up paying ~$65 for the repair which included a higher quality Shimano crank assembly. They said their professional assembly would have cost $70-$80, so I guess I'm still ahead. But be warned that warranty coverage apparently requires assembly by an authorized shop.

4Some basics
By E. I. C. Dr
Bought the bike about three weeks ago and, as other reviewers have noted, it is a 'sturdy' bike frame (translation the frame is indestructible but heavy). The wheels are great and assembly was a breeze. The reason I am writing this review is to start a note about the fact that the chain broke on me on my 9-10th ride and maybe this is a fluke but if anyone else notes it, then it may be worth taking caution.
