By Carrie Sperlunto
I got the 26" bike from a rewards card. It arrived well packaged with no scratches. Full instructions were provided and it was easy to assemble, taking about 45-60 minutes. I think the bike is sturdy and well built. I got it for my adult son, and I figured if he didn't like it or was dissatisfied, I would just sell it. So far, it's a keeper. I've read and found only negative reviews on this bike and felt compelled to add my 2 cents.

The build quality of this bike is just about the worst I have seen. The pedals and hub bearings broke after just a few rides down easy groomed trails. Also, the front brakes have been loose and sloppy since new. Even rolling off the curb could be a serious safety hazard on this bike.

By Heidi
I ride mountain bikes ocassionally, and bought this bike for visitors. It is the 26 inch version, but the frame looks like a 24 inch frame with 26 inch tires. In fairly mild turns, the front wheel will solidly hit your foot while you peddle. In fact, the frame is so small that the front wheel hits the pedal itself in the turns when the peddle is all the way foward. I like Huffy bikes, but this bike is just not rideable in the 26 inch version. I can't believe Huffy put out a product likethis ...its like nobody even tested the 26 inch version. For kids with 24 inch wheels, it might be much better. Additionally, as it came out of the box, about half the gears, don't actually work. I suspect this could be fixed by a bike shop with some hardware adjustments.
